August 08, 2008: First off, we'd like to announce the exciting new
News Page of the UWA Website. This off-site,
powered by Drupal, allows us to post up to the minute news updates
quicker and easier than ever, meaning you get more news, articles,
and updates than ever! Be sure to check that out. Also, the Title
History and Results sections are completely up to date.
We have some big updates coming from the UWA
newswire. First off, we have posted a recap video of the terrific
July 15th show which can be downloaded by
Right Clicking and Saving As. You can also find this in the
Recap section of the website.
We also have results
from the July 28, 2008 show, which was an amazing event. You can
watch a video recap of the show by either going to the Recap Videos
section or
Right Clicking and Saving As. Quick results are as follows;
-Prototype had
special guest Bowel Movement in the Protopit. Bowel Movement doesn't
like The Council, came up with his name while shitting and had an
epiphany, and is going for any title he can get. Prototype also
announced that he and Josh Bobb would be taking on David Chaos and
Calypso for the tag team championships in a tornado tag match.
-Calypso and David
Chaos(c) defeated Hardcore Mafia in a tornado tag match for the UWA
Tag Team Championships after the Terminal Marvelousity at 15:59. The
Council continued the beating after the match until Bowel Movement
came out and chased the champs out of the ring with a steel chair.
-Ultimo Molesto
defeated Suzuki Sanchez after the Ass to Mouth at 1:45. Ultimo
Molest then had the ref count in Spanish.
-Bowel Movement
defeated HPV after a Butt Punch at 2:15. After the match, HPV
defecated upon himself and Bowel Movement ate and spread the fecal
matter everywhere.
-Prototype(c)
defeated David Chaos in a hardcore match to retain the UWA Hardcore
Championship after a chair shot at 15:43. Prototype was seen limping
after the match, however, and has been diagnosed with a torn
ligament in his knee, keeping him out of action for at least two
weeks. Accordingly, Prototype has been stripped of his UWA Hardcore
Championship and it has been announced that at the next show there
will be a match to determine the new Hardcore Champion between
Calypso, JD Marshall, and David Chaos.
-In the main event
of the evening, Calypso(c) defeated Josh Bobb to retain his UWA
Undisputed Championship after a Virgin Slayer at 21:03. After the
match, it was discovered that Josh Bobb separated his shoulder and
is expected to miss a couple weeks of action, though the injury is
not considered serious.
And, finally, we have results from the August 05, 2008 show,
entitled Hardcore II. You can download a short recap video of it by
Right Clicking and Saving As or checking in the Recap Videos
section.
-Bowel Movement defeated Ultimo Molesto after a Butt Punch at
3:16. Ultimo Molesto looked shaken after his match.
-In the main event of the evening, David Chaos defeated Calypso
and JD Marhshall after forcing JD to tap to win the vacant UWA
Hardcore Championship at 32:04. After the match, the Council said
they now hold every piece of gold in UWA and that their war tonight
was a war of respect and that nobody holds hard feelings towards one
another.
And, finally, we have the card for what is looking to be an
exciting show on August 15, 2008. It only has one match, but is
already shaping up to be excellent.
Main Event

July
09, 2008: The Fourth Anniversary Show has officially ended and we
have some of the most shocking developments in UWA history! First
off, we have brand new UWA Undisputed and Tag Team Champions! The
full results of the show are as follows:
-Calypso and David
Chaos defeated Hardcore Mafia to become the NEW UWA Tag Team
Champions at 15:32. Chaos pinned Prototype after the Terminal
Marvelousity. Both members of MDC proceeded to cut promos on how the
Undisputed Championship is coming back to MDC.
-UWA Jobber
Champion Larry Ito successfully defended his championship against
Suzuki Sanchez in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match. Ito won the first fall
at 5:32 with the Lariat 45 and won the second fall at 12:45 with the
Lariat 69.
-Prototype
successfully defended his UWA Hardcore Championship against JD
Marshall in a Last Man Standing Match at 13:01 after the Protoshock
on a ladder followed by the Happy Ending. This was the fourth and
final match in their best of seven series.
-HPV defeated Golga
Jr and Jumping Geppetto in a triple threat at 9:10 after an
You've Just Been Infected!
-In the main event
of the evening, Calypso won the fourth annual Deadly Draw to win the
vacant UWA Undisputed Championship. The match also featured Josh
Bobb, David Chaos, Prototype, JD Marshall, and Sean Drego. Calypso
and Josh Bobb started the match off and brawled all over the UWA
arena until JD Marshall came out. JD Marshall was then man-handled
by both men until Sean Drego came out and ruled the ring. Prototype
was the fifth entrant who teamed with Josh Bobb until the sixth and
final entrant David Chaos came out. The first elimination was Sean
Drego who was pinned by JD Marshall after everyone hit their
respective finishers on him. JD Marshall was the second elimination
after being pinned by Calypso. Prototype was eliminated third after
the Terminal Marvelousity, though David Chaos tapped out to the
Brippler Bobbface quickly after. The final two men, the same two
that started, were Josh Bobb and Calypso who wrestled for fifteen
more minutes until JD Marshall and David Chaos came out and attacked
Josh Bobb right after he hit the Terminator on Calypso. Chaos then
pulled Calypso on top of Josh Bobb for the three count at 58:23 and
to give Calypso his fourth UWA Undisputed Championship reign.
-After the match,
Calypso cut a promo saying MDC was dead and that they were marking a
new era in the UWA. With Calypso's intelligence and speed, Chaos'
brute strength, and JD Marshall's heart and determination, they will
continue to rule UWA as the Council. With that, the UWA's Fourth
Anniversary came to a close.

June
25, 2008: We have some huge updates going on in the world of UWA,
including shocking news in the form of a new UWA Undisputed
Champion, Josh Bobb! To check out the latest developments plus news
on the huge 4th Anniversary Show coming up and the biggest
announcement in UWA history, be sure to check out the article "May
and Juny 2008!"
Also, the
Results Section and
Title History sections have been updated so be sure to check
those out.
June
14, 2008: We here at UWA apologize for the lack of updates but the
last two weeks have been among the craziest in UWA history.
Recently, UWA bought a terabyte hard drive to store all of the
latest UWA shows and on this hard drive the shows from March 12,
2008 to June 2008 have all been lost. The hard drive broke only two
weeks after purchasing it and we have been told there is no way to
restore or retrieve the data on the drive. Which means we have lost
some of the greatest matches in UWA history including;
-Calypso vs Prototype
(Ironman)
-David Chaos winning the UWA Undisputed Championship
-Prototype Vs JD Marshall (15 Ironman Match)
-Calypso Vs Prototype Vs JD Marshall (TLC)
-David Chaos vs Calypso for the UWA Undisputed Championship
-Josh Bobb Vs Sean Drego
And many more. We
are very sad to announce this tremendous loss of footage but have
found some old master tapes that have not been taped over, but it
can not make up for the huge loss we have experienced.
We have spent the
last few days attempting to figure out the best way to recoup from
this lost and it has been decided that we will not ignore the
histories and will do our best to record them from memory, but we
sadly will have little to no footage from them. But, we will have
to, for better or worse, have a sort of "restart" so you may see
some rematches from this time period, but simply because the
previous encounters were so terrific.
We have updated the
Results page up until 06.03.09. We do
have some pretty big matches lined up though, which include:
-Homosexual
Homicide Part Tres (David Chaos, JD Marshall, Sean Drego, and
Calypso)
-Round Robin: David Chaos Vs Josh Bobb Vs JD Marshall Vs Calypso for
the UWA Undisputed Championship
-Prototype and JD Marshall continue their best of 7 series
-David Chaos Vs Calypso Vs Josh Bobb in a Triple Threat for the UWA
Undisputed Championship
-AND MUCH MUCH MORE!
Once again, we
apologize for the loss of footage and we did everything in our power
to retrieve it but luck was simply not on our side. But, as always,
UWA will bounce back and do so bigger and stronger than ever. Be
sure to check back for the latest updates on what's going on!
May

the shock of everyone, new General Manager Swaff changed almost
every match that was originally booked to be on the show!
Also, we have
updated the News Section and added some
pictures to the Pictures Section. And,
finally, be sure to check out our newest sponsor below. Come on, buy
stuff so we can buy more UWA stuff.

been seen before on YouTube! And what's best is you can download all
of these classic videos to your computer for repeated viewings.
These include every recap video made since day one in the UWA all
the way up to the most recent recap video in October 2007.
May
12, 2008: UWAOnline.org launches! We're still in the process of
working out a few elements but be rest assured everything is in
working order. We have some new sections you may not be familiar
with. In the "Wrestler Blogs" section you will be redirected to the
official UWA blog which will feature blog posts straight from the
UWA wrestlers themselves! UWA also has brand new forums, though they
are still a work in progress, as is the UWA ShopZone. We highly
suggest you read the "Catching Up
in 2008" article as it will update you as to what's going on in
the world of UWA.
