Sean Drego has had one of the most disturbing backgrounds in UWA history. Once a Russian body builder, Drego left Russia and met up with The Unbearable One where the two trained together and Drego hoped to live out his dream of becoming a pro wrestler. One night, however, Sean Drego went insane on a prostitute and mauled her like a bear. Afraid, The Unbearable One sedated and hypnotized Drego into thinking he was an actual beast and together the two dominated UCW and UWA while everyone kept quiet of Drego's true past. Calypso, however, desperate to defeat UCW in the UWA/UCW war, told Drego the truth about his past causing him to snap and turn on UCW and knock out his old master. Since then, Drego has returned to his Russian roots and hates all things American.
